If there's one bit of good news in our Week 13 fantasy defense rankings, the top options aren't as strong as usual, it's that the Broncos D/ST might finally be worth playing. Other than that, and the potential waiver wire pickups are riskier than usual.

The Chargers (vs. Browns) are one waiver pickup that provides little risk, Redskins (@ Cowboys) and Titans (vs. Texans) are the next top pickups options,Authentic Marcus Peters Jersey, as their recent strong play couple with their dream matchup makes them a must-start. After that, Dolphins (vs. Broncos), the Bears (vs. 49ers -- might depend on who starts at QB for San Francisco), but none of them are all that inspiring, even with some favorable matchups.

But if not them, given them both mediocre matchups. Even worse are the Saints and Panthers, then who? The Lions and Ravens have been two of the more bankable fantasy defenses all year, and they play each, who play each other and have bad matchups. The Vkings (@ Falcons) and Seahawks (vs. Eagles) don't have great matchups either. The Patriots (@ Bills) and Chiefs (@ Jets) are heavily owned and don't have bad matchups, but are either really that good? Ditto for the aforementioned Broncos.

The Seattle Seahawks are arguably facing their biggest challenge Sunday night in a prime-time matchup against the league-best Philadelphia Eagles. Seattle will need all its players healthy and on the field.

The run game got some good news Wednesday when running back Mike Davis resumed practice in a limited capacity. Davis missed last week’s battle in the Bay with a groin injury and his status for this weekend is still uncertain.

Tight end Luke Willson remains in the concussion protocol and did not participate to start the week. Coach Pete Carroll remains optimistic he could play Sunday night.

“He has to get through this next stage here,” Carroll said Wednesday. “He has a really good chance, but he looks really good and he feels really good, but we won’t know until possibly tomorrow. Friday for sure we’ll know one way or the other.”

While Wilson is happy to return to his normal speaking, the league remains quiet on what, if any, punishment will come down for not adhering to proper procedure. And like all NFL matters, this case seems to be dragging out much longer than it should or needs to exist.

The Seattle Seahawks are wounded. They're missing three of their most important players in Richard Sherman, Cliff Avril,Authentic Ryan Griffin Jersey, and Kam Chancellor. They can't run the ball. If the season ended before Week 13 begins, they'd miss the playoffs in a loaded NFC for the first time since 2011. The Eagles should be favored, but don't count out the Seahawks from pulling off the upset and as a result, reasserting themselves as a contender in the NFC playoff picture. As it stands, they're a game behind the Rams in the NFC West and tied with the Falcons for the final Wild Card spot, though the Falcons own the head-to-head tiebreaker.

The Seahawks can beat the Eagles because they have Russell Wilson, even if he's generating almost no buzz as the season hits its final stretch. That doesn't mean Wilson should win the league MVP award -- he won't -- it just means Wilson is required to singlehandedly carry his offense while other quarterbacks (like Carson Wentz) can rely on at least somewhat reliable pass protection and a solid ground game.
